What People's Say About Place

I had the brisket omelet with bacon, and it was quite amazing! Hannah, my server was great! They made accommodations for my gluten sensitivity. The food came out fast and was hot and delicious.

I treated some of the ladies that I run with, including my wife, to a brunch there. Oh my, let me tell you you are missing out on this little gem if you never been. The food was amazing. The staff was great. It is a little small but they do there absolute best to accommodate you.

Lula Perl was an amazing brunch experience. Have heard so much about this cafe // brunch gem. The quality is unmatched along with the coffee. Went on a specials Saturday to get a Cassoulet with boudin, brisket omelette & a pimento sandwich. The food is made with quality ingredients that leave you feeling full but not in a food coma. Was so delicious I put in a to go order that was enjoyed a couple of hours later. The homemade biscuits & bacon were the star, however everything was delicious. Will be back when they are open for dinner!

I visited Lula Perl today and ordered coffee with a strawberry & cheesecake pastry. The pastry was delicious & tasted very rich. The lunch special included a large & thick porkchop with vegetables. Although the meal looked tempting, I felt it was too pricey. The atmosphere of the restaurant is open, clean, well lit, cozy and inviting. Breakfast and lunch are served. Guests can dine inside or outside, and, there is a drive through. The staff was friendly & hospitable. I will surely return for another pastry.

Looking for a brunch spot in Ruston and lucked up on this place. This was my first time here. Upon entrance I was very pleased. It was easy to find. Cutely decorated establishment. The service with me was a little off. They were slow to approach me which was odd because I was very nicely greeted by the gentleman who held the door open for me due to the rain. The service didn't get much better (lots of looking but not much assisting). The food however truly made up for it. I had the bacon, egg, and bacon croissant. It was so flaky and delicious. I also had peach sweet tea. I enjoyed each sip. There wasn't a long wait for my order. My only recommendations are to be sure to greet each of your customers with the same or similar enthusiasm. Be attentive and please thank them as they leave. If that improves this will be a 10/10. The picture doesn't do this any justice. It was really good.

Food is amazing. They use local whole food ingredients. Very passionate owners who care about what their customers eat. My personal favorite dish is their chicken and dumplings.

My daughter wanted to try this place for the first time. Easy access and parking right off 167. Walked in and was graded quickly. Interior decor was nice and not overpowering. Had a nice aroma of good smelling food in the air. I got a brisket skillet that was extremely fulfilling and tasty. Served very hot. Daughter wanted a omelette and I think she could have got a better option for the money for that dish. Not very happy with the serving size. We also got one of their waffles which was pretty tasty and wasn't doughy. Our server was new, been there about 3 months. Didn't know much about the menu items. That was disappointing. The MBIC (some of you will know what that means) stop by our table to say hello and ask if our breakfast was good. A bit pricey for my taste but we will probably go back at a later date. Would recommend.

Awesome service and food. Thank you. I got a bacon, egg and cheese croissant and they give a military discount. Love it
